This is Bucky Magness, when I read the obituary I found it hard to believe. Fond memories from High School with you both and then Dick, Ed, Charley and I all going to Hendrix where we were known as the 4 Musketeers I am the last one standing. What a friend, Dick and I roomed together in East Hall for a year and a half before Judy and I married where he was my Best Man. My heart goes out to you and the family.

Prayers to Kay and the rest of the family ! Known Dr Aclin for a long time First because he was great friends with my parents and second because he was my daughter s pediatrician and always made her and me as a young mother feel confident in ourselves and in him and what he was saying. I had the privilege of having Dr Aclin as my pediatrician when I was a child then as an adult working alongside him as a colleague at Sparks where I had my first job on Pediatrics. He was always kind and a fantastic physician. He will be missed! So very sorry for your loss. Prayers are with your family.

There aren't enough words to describe this wonderful man. He was a great doctor and a great friend. I cherish all the memories of him. It was a privilege to work with him and Dr. Watts for 17 years.

I worked with "Dickie Roy" for 22 years at Sparks and AHEC and always enjoyed seeing his kindness to his patients. He loved practicing and teaching medicine. His style and knowledge will be carried on by many. I have tremendous respect for this Southern gentleman.

Richard Aclin has been a friend, mentor and colleague since I first met him when I was a senior medical student. He taught me in residency, and later joined me on the full time staff at AHEC to direct our pediatric teaching. He loved teaching young physicians, and hundreds of physicians will carry a little bit of him with us for generations to come. Rest in peace, Richard. And prayers for Kay and your kids.

I send condolences to the Family of Dr. Richard Aclin. I worked with him for many years at Sparks and UAMS Family Medical Center. He was always a joy to be around. Loved hearing his stories and sharing recipes with him. I also learned many thing about pediatric disease process that helped me perform my job. He was a wonderful man and great Physician. He will truly be missed.

RIP Dr Aclin, My favorite Boss & pediatrician of all time.
Very few great ones are left in this world...the old school ones we would always say....a great man to all and taken way too soon. He will be dearly missed by my children, Nicholas & Stephanie Kremers. A Very smart, funny man & loved teaching his philosophy of caring for children to our future Docs at AHEC. And also Dr A & I go way way back to 1983 the early independent years of medicine. My thoughts and prayers go out to sweet, Kay and family.
