Roberto was one of my best friends. I have lived in many places and the 5 years I lived in Cortland were filled with many challenges as I was in my 20s and trying to figure out so many things as we all are at that point in our lives. Roberto was one of the funniest son a ma biches I've ever known, and as I have now surpassed him in age and just turned 42 this last year, there has been no one I've met that is even close to matching Roberto's charm, his contagious laugh, his hilarious expressions, and impersonations he would do of his dad and of so many other cultures and ppls.... there are few days that pass since I moved away from NY that I don't think about him, and I still share so many memories and stories about him to others and I miss him every day. I don't plan on going up to where he is anytime soon, but when I do go, I will take solace and remember to feel relieved to know that my friend will be there waiting for me. The whole world is missing a great soul, and I hope that those who remember him, and that loved him, can smile and remember him whenever they are having a need to laugh.

Sincerely, Tyler the Canadian
