My memories of my and Shelley's times together are too many to count. Living in apt. buildings next to each other for 13 yrs., cemented out friendship. We took the bus to work together, and back home at the end of the day. We spent time together almost every weekend. We'd go grocery shopping on Sat. or Sun.
Some of the things I learned about Shelley over the years made an impression on me. She was a very accepting person, in that she didn't judge other people. I never heard her bad mouth or belittle anyone. She had her friends and if she didn't like someone, she just didn't bother with them. Her motto was 'live and let live'. The world would be a better place if there were more people like Shelley, in it.
She loved her job and VERY seldom missed a day of work. She was very conscientious about the job she did. She had her weekly routine and stuck to it. Fri. night was laundry night.
We didn't get together very often, after I moved out of the city, but we always stayed in contact. I feel lucky to have known Shelley and have her for a friend. God Bless you Shelley, now and forever.
