I have known Steve for almost 40 years. Always pleasant in character, a smile and handshake, always searching for knowledge and history, generous to share. To have known Steve "was a chance of a lifetime, in a lifetime of chance". Steve, we will all miss you, but I was privileged to have you as a friend.
