It was with sadness I read of the passing of Ms. Reilly. I know she has been in frail health.
I first met the Reilly sisters in 1979 when I went to work for what was then Union Bank Dowtown on N Stone, Union Bank became InterWest/Arizona Bank. In the early 80's I ran an Operations Center across the parking garage from the bank, Our garage door opened across the street from the side door of Reilly Funeral home.I saw the sisters several times a week, in the bank and on the street. I loved downtown too from the early 50's until I retired in 1999. It is a sad place today. After retirement I went to work at Tucson Federal Credit Union, formerly Tucson Teachers. I was so happy to see Ms. Reilly again when her caregivers would bring her to the Credit Union. We had some nice long talks.
She was a sweet, intelligent feisty lady and I admired her. I am unable to attend the funeral mass but my thoughts will be with her.
Sincerely,
Joan E. Cannon

Jeanne will be remembered by her devotion to family and children. She loved her family and the children she taught. So many of her students returned to visit with her about the "bears." It was a positive experience just being around her while she often shared stories about her family and her experiences as a teacher. I had the pleasure of teaching with Jeanne for 16 years at Duffy School. I know she will be remembered by former students, friends, and most of all her family. My condolences to her family.
