I will always remember that Jim was the driving force behind getting the Minnesota Orchestra out to Conway Park for wonderful outdoor concerts. His efforts enriched the east side neighborhood.

To the family of Jim Schmitz,
We would like to offer our condolences on the loss of this wonderful, kind man. My husband, Shannon and myself worked at EHB and I had the privilege of seeing him everyday in Woodbury. He was the nicest person to everyone. I always remember his bow ties and his smile.
We pray that Jim is now fully healed and that your family will find peace and comfort in God's loving arms.

Loving thoughts and prayers to your family.

While at Eastern Heights Jim did MUCH to enrich our Eastside neighborhood. He helped us to make Miner Days happen. Working with him on neighborhood concerns was "on task" and fun, too! He helped us to make a difference.
