Rick was a wonderful friend. He was someone who was enjoyable to be around. My heart is filled with pain for your loss. May God comfort all of you in these difficult times. I'm Lynn Rust - (Thomas Rust's mother) & my husband is Roger. He was just with all of you on Sunday at the WILD Game. Roger had such a nice time with Rick & you, his family.
Thomas will miss him so much. Thomas told me that the night before he left that Thomas just gave Rick a BIG hug and told him "I love you man". I'm glad to hear he had such kind words to say to him. Senkler family--
I am so saddened by this news. My heart is hurting for all you.
I knew Rick as a neighbor, carpool buddy, and classmate at both Mounds Park Academy and White Bear Highschool. I will always remember his smile; carpooling to school, passing him in the hallways, or in his snazzy red truck crossing the bridge. He was such a kindhearted, gentle and polite young man who will be missed dearly. It all seems too surreal...
Thanks for always offering me the front seat, Rick. Rest in Peace.
