Richard Senkler Obituary

Age 22 Died Unexpectedly in His Sleep On February 24, 2011. Rick is survived by loving parents, Bob and Pam; brother, Chris (fiancée Rachel Schram); grandmother, Fae Werner; aunts & uncles Cindy Werner, Jay & Suelin Werner, Phil & Linda Werner, Jeanne & Kurt Johnson, Dick & Marcia Senkler, Nancy & John Olker, George & Carol Senkler; also many loving cousins and friends. Describing someone you love so much is difficult, but Rick's neighbor Karen maybe said it best in her Christmas note to us, "Your son is such a polite and considerate young man. I enjoy his company and welcome him in my home. I think God worked a little something making Ricky our neighbor." Rick loved the outdoors, especially his best hunting buddy Al. He was kind, loving, gentle and will be missed. Celebration of Rick's Life will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at ST. ANDREWS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 900 Stillwater Road, Mahtomedi. Visitation Monday 5-7 pm AT THE CHURCH. and on Tuesday from 10 am until time of service. Memorials preferred to Guild Incorporated, Second Harvest Heartland, Animal Humane Society. Private interment Elmhurst Cemetery.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

To the Family of Rick Senkler,

Rick was a wonderful friend. He was someone who was enjoyable to be around. My heart is filled with pain for your loss. May God comfort all of you in these difficult times. I will never forget his "ear-to-ear" grin. There were days I was down and seeing that smile would raise my spirits. He will forever be loved and remembered by all. God Bless.

Senkler family--

I am so saddened by this news. My heart is hurting for all you.

I knew Rick as a neighbor, carpool buddy, and classmate at both Mounds Park Academy and White Bear Highschool. I will always remember his smile; carpooling to school, passing him in the hallways, or in his snazzy red truck crossing the bridge. He was such a kindhearted, gentle and polite young man who will be missed dearly. It all seems too surreal...

Thanks for always offering me the front seat, Rick. Rest in Peace.
