To the Defoe Family
I was very sorry to hear of Ernie's passing. He was the best at everything he did. To me he was the greatest muscican, golfer and firefighter. I spent many years in the band and working on the fire department with Ernie. He was a gentleman and a mentor to all of us. He will be missed.

Ernie's death We go back so many years to Nelson and Ernie's Band playing at our Teen Town Dances. We have so many good memories of him He was a good man.

To Georgie and all the family. My sincere condolences and prayers are sent to you. I thoroughly enjoyed the many years playing with Ernie in our fire department band where Ernie also served as President of that organization. His effective leadership there and in the fire department will always be remembered and appreciated.
