Fred was born on February 23, 1947, at US Marine Hospital Darmstadt, Germany. He passed away on May 28, 2015, at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center, he was 68.

Fred grew up in Pittsburg, PA. He lived in Visalia, CA since 1995.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Henry Makowski, Pittsburgh, PA and Helen Genster, Nuess, Germany.

Frederick will be missed by his wife, Linda Makowski; son, Kevin Makowski and his wife Stephanie; son, Brandon Makowski and his wife Katherine; son, Frederick Makowski, Ill; grandchildren, Antoinette, Matthew, Tyler, Lydia and Sydney.

Funeral services will be held at Farewell Funeral Service, 660 W. Locust Ave. #101, Pinedale, CA on June 13, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.
