Dear Barbara and Family, I was saddened to hear of Bills death. I always treasured his support of me on the Board when I was prioress. His contributions to Benedictine are legion. You and Bill were backbones of Benedictine. I know there was a wonderful reunion and a reception of open arms when Bill joined so many family members and friends in company of the angels.
I am sorry for your loss, but I know you will continue to be supported and surrounded by love!
My love and prayers, Sister Patricia Gamgort, OSB

My parents, Roy & Frances Sheridan, lived across the street from Bill & Barbara on Nora Dr for many years. Bill was a wonderful neighbor & highly regarded. I remember his kindness in giving me rides to work as a recent college grad. MY brother Robert & I send our deepest sympathies to Barbara and family on the loss of this very special person.

We saw Bill's obituary this afternoon too late to attend the funeral. The words "gentleman and scholar" are today somewhat of a cliche, but are truly descriptive of Bill. His passing shall be mourned by all. Our sincere condolences.

Dear Barbara and family, I was saddened by the news of Bill's death. I will always remember him as the perfect gentleman who dedicated many of his years to the life of those with special needs at the Benedictine School and beyond. I will remember him and you as dear friends of the Benedictine Sisters, many of whom greeted him with open arms, along with David and Jane. May you be strengthened and supported by your dear family and many friends. God bless you and yours.
Sincerely and with love and prayer. Sister Patricia Gamgort, OSB. Atchison, Kansas
