Elizabeth Welsh Obituary

WELSH ELIZABETH PRITCHARD WELSH Elizabeth Pritchard Welsh was born in Laurel, MD on March 12, 1918. She joined the chorus of angels on October 23, 2009. In 1995 her husband Jimmy, to whom she was married 55 years, preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Jim and his wife Nancy; and her daughter, Betsy; as well as grandsons, Jeffrey (Amy), Jamie (Anne), Ivan (Andriana), Mark (Lauren), Todd (Kierstie), Timothy, and Joel. She adored her five great-grandchildren; Sadie, Payton, Josephine, Jeremy, and Cecilia. A celebration of her life is planned for Sunday, November 1, 2009 at St. Philip''s at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. in Wyatt Hall and immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Columbarium Fund at St. Philip''s Church, 522 Main St. Laurel, MD 20707.

I remember Mrs. Welsh's GREAT happy laugh when we were in Girl Scouts with Betsy. Going up to their house on top of the hill. Both she and Mr. Welsh were always FUN and Happy and willing to drive us to things.
