Fulton Mills GREGG
Died unexpectedly at home in Fairfax, VA, on July 6, 2021. His only sibling is Bentley (wife Susan, and their daughter, Sara Mills Gregg). Surviving cousins (10) include Cameron Lane; the only remaining member of previous generation is beloved, 97-year old aunt, Gigi Green (Cameron's Mom). He was born in Burlington, VT, on August 25, 1950. Graduated from Burlington High School (1968) and University of Vermont (1972). Had a 17-year Coast Guard career, retiring as a Lieutenant in 1993. He then received a Master's from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (1997). Then had a distinguished career in Customs and Border Protection, retiring in 2013. Then took six foreign or US trips a year, including annual Road Scholar birding trips to Costa Rica, plus his volunteer work at Fairfax Hospital and Travelers Aid at Dulles Airport, until Covid-19 pandemic set in, curtailing even his gym visits. Interment at a later date in a family plot in Westwood, MA, with some ashes also scattered at Sagamore Beach. Donations in his honor to UVM or the National Park Conservation Association.
