Joseph Rison Obituary
Joseph C. Rison (Age 63)
Joseph "Joe" C. Rison, 63, passed away on April 16, 2022, after a long challenging battle with lupus. Born in Washington, DC on June 3, 1958, he was the son of James and Virginia Thompson. He retired as Project Manager with ADJ Sheet Metal. He was a member of Local 100 for over 35 years and he loved his job and his co-workers. He was a loving son, brother and uncle and he loved his family, friends and puppies more than anything. He loved life and did many things including traveling to visit friends all over the United States.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Mary Rison Lowe, Bonnie Rison Rouser, David Thompson, Patty Simons, Thomas Thompson, Mark Simons, and Lori Rison Lusk; nieces and nephews Ray Rison Jr, Ashley Rison, Shannon Rison, Nicole Lowe, Nathan Lowe and Seth Rison; great nieces and nephews Camden O'Haran, Aubree O'Haran and Jaxon Lowe; a host of devoted aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Pat Spaterella; brothers Donald Rison, Ray Rison, and Ronnie Thompson and nephew Chad Rison.
Funeral arrangements will be private. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.

I am one of Joe's neighbors on abaco lane in Rehoboth. He was always easy going, very generous and willing to help. I had many interesting conversations with him and enjoyed his stories and colorful way of describing the situation. I am sorry to hear if his passing and will miss his cul de sac presence. Rest in peace Joe ~
