Michael Delano Obituary

Michael H. Delano, 70, of North Conway, died on June 6, 2015, at home with family in Scarborough, ME, after a brief illness. He is survived by three brothers, Phillip R. Delano of Hull, MA; David L. Delano of Charlton, MA, and Jon Delano of Quincy, MA; one sister, Elizabeth D. Puddington of Scarborough, ME; and nine nephews, twelve great-nephews and one great-niece. Michael attended Derby Academy in Hingham, MA, Milton Academy, Milton, MA, and served in the U.S. Navy. His lengthy career included technical services management, restaurant management and construction in the Boston area. He enjoyed travel across the U.S. and to many different countries. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mayflower Cemetery, Tremont St. and Rt. 3A, Duxbury, MA, with a reception to be held directly afterwards. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to New England Cancer Specialists, 100 Campus Drive, Scarborough, ME, 04074.
