Well, Id like to say that I miss Laurel. I have so many fond memories of sitting at her house with her and laughing and hearing about her kayaking stories. She loved glass works, nature, and the law. I last saw her about 4 or 5 years ago in front of the Denver Botanical Gardens. I didnt even recognize her, she had lost so much weight. I didnt know why or that she was so sick. I drove down her street in Denver yesterday to try to show her my new puppy - but couldnt remember the house number, so I googled and that is how I found out. It was also her birthday. I miss Laurel.

I just learned that Laurel had passed away. I am so sad- A great friend of my childhood. Dear, fun and trusted. Mrs Adams, David and Russ- I'm so sorry for your loss.

Laurel was my best friend and traveling buddy for over 30 years. My mother told me yesterday that grief is the price we have to pay for love. Rest pain-free forever, dear Laurel!!
