I live in the same building as Roy. He was always polite and friendly in a manner that extended beyond what most people have, he was CHARMING. I did not know until I read the paper today that he was in the Essex Scotish Highlanders, my dad was part of that regiment and was killed when he was twenty three. If I would have known I could have asked Roy about his time in the war. When someone extrordinary like Roy leaves us I always ask God to leave me a little of their magic, I would love to have a little bit of his charm.

My deepest sympathy to his family you have shared the life of a true gentleman.
