Robert Ilgenfritz Obituary
Tremont - Robert S. Ilgenfritz, 65, died on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Tremont Health and Rehab. Center.
Robert was born in York on September 6, 1953, son of the late Charles T. and Dorothy R. (Dill) Ilgenfritz.
Robert graduated from Central York High School. He served in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed socializing with friends.
He is survived by two brothers, Donald C. Ilgenfritz and his wife, Ann and David Ilgenfritz and his wife, Trudy; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five siblings, Yvonne Grove, Shirley Ilgenfritz, Lois Ilgenfritz, Charles Thomas Ilgenfritz, and Charlotte Knaub.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Mount Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mount Rose Ave., York, with the Rev. Dr. Eddie D. D. Miller officiating and flag folding ceremony by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends and family attending the service are asked to meet at the entrance of the cemetery at 9:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LifePath Christian Ministries, 367 W. Market St., York, PA 17401.
