Neiron Ball (1992–2019), former Raiders linebacker
Neiron Ball was a former linebacker for the Oakland Raiders who had a standout football career at the University of Florida. Ball was diagnosed with a rare blood vessel disorder called arteriovenous malformationin 2011 which is a tangle of abnormal blood vessels in the brain. He was able to return to playing football for the Gators and was a fifth round draft choice of the Raiders in 2015. Nicknamed cWeezyc by his teammates, Ball played one season for the Raiders before being released. He suffered a brain aneurysm in 2018 and had been living in a nursing facility.

Cliff Branch (1948–2019), legendary Raiders receiver
Cliff Branch was a star receiver for the Oakland and Los Angeles Raiders, catching over 500 passes during a 14-year NFL career from 1972 until 1986. The speedy Branch was one of the best deep threats in the league, catching many long TD passes from quarterbacks Ken Stabler and Jim Plunkett. He helped the Raiders win three Super Bowls with an impressive 73 receptions during the playoffs. Branch played college football at Colorado and was an outstanding track sprinter, finishing 5th in the 100 meter finals at the NCAA championships in 1972.

Clem Daniels (1937 - 2019,) AFL all-time leading rusher
Clem Daniels was a star running back for the Oakland Raiders of the AFL during the 1960s, helping the team win the 1967 AFL championship. He rushed for over 5,100 yards and is the AFL’s all-time leading rusher. Daniels played college football at Prairie View and spent his first season with the Houston Texans. He was traded to Oakland and starred there for 7 seasons, finishing his career with one season for the 49ers in 1968. The versatile Daniels had 30 career rushing touchdowns along with 24 receiving TDs and once ran for 200 yards in a game.
