Larry Sharpe Obituary

Larry Stephen Sharpe, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024, surrounded by family. Born in Buffalo, NY, on September 9, 1950, Larry grew up in Illinois and moved to Florida to pursue a career in carpentry. A skilled General Contractor, Larry spent his career building residential neighborhoods, with his brother and eventually building custom homes. His work was a reflection of his integrity, dedication, and meticulous craftsmanship. Larry is survived by his devoted wife of 10 years, Nannell DeMaria Sharpe; his children, Matthew Sharpe (Carley) of Lakeland, FL, and Sara Barber (Matt) of Royal Palm Beach, FL; and their mother, Denise Hendrix, along with his cherished grandchildren, Hudson, Nash, Brayden and Parker. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Sharpe, of Fort Lauderdale, FL; his sister, Jolene Sharpe Schenck (Steve) of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and his brother, Kenneth Sharpe (Elizabeth) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Sharpe, and his brother, Robert Wilson. Larry's legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. His love of family, unwavering work ethic, and spirited enthusiasm for life will be remembered forever.
