sorry to hear of the passing of Vern, i transferred to Orlando in 1970 and got to know Vern through work and family. He and i worked many hours in and around Apopka and the surrounding area. He, Trooper Twitty, I and others enjoyed many coffee breaks in the drug store in Apopka, We held many d l and equipment checks in the area. He will be missed for many things including his keen sense of humor. I have always cherished our relationship and he was truly a good friend.
