Ivana Gillet, born on June 24, 1937, in Slovenia (formerly Yugoslavia), passed away on February 8, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She emigrated from her homeland, bringing with her a rich cultural heritage and a resilient spirit. Ivana's journey was marked by her strength, determination, and the love she shared with those around her. Her life was a testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of family. Ivana is survived by her two beloved brothers, Stojan and Janko, who cherished her deeply. She also leaves behind her adopted family, Amanda French (Shawn) and their children Alley and David, as well as Mark Howe (Elizabeth) and their daughter Julia. Ivana's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever remember her warmth, kindness, and unwavering courage. A small graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Friday July 18th, 2025 at Cavalry Cemetery.
