Alva Angelina Winslow

Our beautiful mother, Alva Angelina Winslow, passed away July 28, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born December 9, 1941, to Dalia and Felipe Sotelo and was the youngest of five children. She married our late father, David J. Winslow in 1959 and together they had three daughters, Daureen Archuleta (George), Carrie Pavano, and Robin Welch. Our mom was blessed with nine grandchildren, Joelle, Erika, Kyle, Andrew, Jacqueline, Missy, Alexandra, Chris, and Molly as well as six great-grandchildren. We lived a military life for 20 years. Upon our father's retirement from the military, they chose to relocate to Kearny, Arizona. Our mom was devoted to her family and her Catholic faith, and became very involved with Infant Jesus of Prague Church. Her stewardship included working with the Kearny Behavioral Health Center as well as volunteering her time with preschool children. Following the passing of our father, our mom relocated to Mesa, Arizona, with her sister, Olga Hess. She continued to volunteer her time with Christ the King Catholic Church and Queen of Peace Catholic School. Our mom was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She will be forever loved and forever missed. We love you mom. Daureen, Carrie, and Robin
