I worked on the NCUTCD with Robbie and he was highly respected. I believe he was a giant in the profession. When I also received the Honorary Member designation as he had, I was extremely honored since I believe he was our first. My sympathy to the family.

Cathy, Deb and I are so sorry to hear this news. As you know, Robbie was a mentor to me for many years, as he was to countless others. I will miss his passion, wisdom, and humor; but am so thankful that I had the opportunity to benefit from these as well. Robbie was a true giant in the transportation profession, and the profession is all the better for his leadership over the years.

My impressive and loving uncle. He was a wonderful man, professionally and personally, and truly exemplified "good citizenship." Many thanks to him for sharing his beloved city of Washington D.C. with me so many times over the years.
