Christy Rhoads Obituary
Christy J. Rhoads, 70, a kind and gentle man passed away on May 19, 2015. Chris was known for being a devoted son, loving husband, and devoted to animal rights and politics. He served on many foundations and boards as a banker, working for Bank of Albuquerque.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; and several cousins. Mass will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Chris's name may be made to Animal Humane Association, animalhumanenm.org. Please visit our online guest book for Chris at

Chris was always a good friend in high school, cleaver and full of witticisms, so fun to hang out with. Enjoyed meeting his wife, Ruth and they helped my Mom when she was traveling in Albuquerque. I am sorry for you loss, Ruth. I hope we can keep in touch.

Ruth I went to high school with Chris in Carlsbad, NM.
I remember him well in school and he was a stand-up solid person even then!
This world was a better place because he was in it!

Ruth, I am so sorry to hear about Chris. He was a kind, spirited man who made me laugh. When my brother passed away in 2002 he was so helpful and considerate to me and my family. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
