Mrs. Sibley Cato Rhoads, age 83, beloved wife of 62 years to the late Jimmy W. Rhoads, Jr., entered into rest on Wednesday February 11, 2026.

She is survived by her children, Christopher J. (Renee) Rhoads; daughter, Pam Davis; grandchildren, Lorie (Steve) Baynham, Torie (Jerry) Allen, Laura Ashley Rhoads; great grandchildren, Caleb Usry, Law Stoll, Wats (Kayleigh) Allen, Lane Allen, DeL Allen, Bryanna (James) Page, Balyn Baynham. great-great grandchildren, KayLon Usry, Alexander McFadden, Monte Allen, Blossom Danielle Lassen and Bryson Page; and siblings, Johnny Cato, Irvin Cato, Gerald Cato and Annis Barton.

In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents John and Ruby Cato; Sandra Holley, who was like a daughter; and grandchildren, DJ Davis and Meagan Rhoads.

Sibley worked in Data Processing for the Graniteville Company and later for Avondale Mills. She and her husband were long time, faithful members of Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville. Sibley was a loving person to everyone she met and will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

A funeral service honoring her life will be held on Saturday February 14, 2026 at 2pm at Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville with Pastors Jonathan Randall, Stephen Phillips and Jody Padgett officiating. The interment will follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be: Steve Baynham, Jerry Allen, Ray Bentley, Keith Barton, Patrick Barton and Lauren Rhoads.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Trinity Hospice and their staff, including Kira, Kaity and Mrs. Green, for there excellent care of Mrs. Rhoads and her family during her time of illness.
