Daniel Martinez Obituary
Daniel Wayne Martinez (Danyo) We Lovingly announce the passing of Daniel Wayne Martinez, age 49, of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Daniel unexpectedly passed away on July 1, 2021; his family and loved ones are deeply saddened. Being a Native (born and raised) in New Mexico, Daniel deeply loved all of his New Mexican Heritage. He was very proud to tell people he was from the "Land of Enchantment" and his roots were from "Ocate" New Mexico.
Daniel graduated from Albuquerque High School. He became a prominent Top-Notch Realtor serving New Mexico for over 20 years. Daniel's life was devoted to raising his youngest son, Daniel, as a single dad after his son's mother passed away. His passion was to make a difference in his community that he loved so much.
Daniel is survived by his two sons, Daniel John Wayne Romero-Martinez and Jonathan Berumen, his mother, Isabelle Martinez, sister, Darlene Heart, two brothers, David Martinez and Joseph Martinez, his Soulmate, Delilah Garcia and Roxy; along with his Goddaughter, Gabriella R. Cruz, his aunts; MaryAlice Peralta from Pueblo, CO, Nancy Cruz & Uncle Eldie Cruz from Wagon Mound, NM and Stella Martinez from
Albuquerque, as well as two nieces, one nephew and great-nieces/nephews, many cousins, many friends and countless people whose lives he touched. Daniel's family, friends, nieces and nephews meant more to him than words can describe.
May you rest in peace. You are forever in our hearts.

Daniel was one of those people that would cause you to immediately, smile upon noticing his presence as he'd be headed in your direction to shake your hand. He made people feel good, and his optimism and high spirits were so contagious! I'll never forget when he became a fellow Director of the Albuquerque Board of Realtors. He had an initial habit of arriving late to meetings, but when he waltzed in to the meeting room, he was now the best-dressed person in the room...always in high style and oozing with enthusiasm and a great sense of humor. He was always helpful, generous, and a great ambassador of our industry. You left us too soon, amigo----and you will be missed by many..........Rest in Peace, Daniel.

To Daniel's family - My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of Daniel. His sudden departure is inconceivable and it has created a void within the hearts and souls of all who were fortunate to have known him during his earthly journey. Daniel touched many lives and his memory will forever live in our hearts. He was indeed a beautiful and exuberant, loving soul. Daniel you were one of my best friends ever since we at the age of 19 we picked up and our friendship never wavered! You were always so uplifting to me many nights you were on the phone with me seeing how I was doing or us just talking sports! I´m going to miss our talks and your laughter! I have loss a close friend that I will for ever think about! My condolences your family you guys are in my prayers!
