Daniel Warnock Obituary
Daniel Warnock, beloved husband, brother, son, cousin, uncle, friend and master of goal blocking of Williamston, Michigan, passed away suddenly in a car accident late Sunday night, January 14, 2018 in Lansing, Michigan, driving home from soccer. Daniel was incredibly curious, kind, loyal, and had a huge heart that ingratiated him to everyone he met. He always had something to teach us.
Daniel was born in 1980, in Santa Fe, NM and grew up in Albuquerque, NM; Richland, WA; and Portland, OR. He completed Bachelor's studies at the University of Oregon in 2004, Master's of Science from University of Montana in 2009, and a PhD from the University of New Mexico in 2015, all in Biology, with published works in the field of soil science.
He is survived by wife, Kelley Hawthorne Warnock; her parents, Robert and Angela; his father, David Warnock; grandmother, Thelma Warnock; mother, Mary Bates Ulibarri; step-father, Carlos Ulibarri; brother, Victor Ulibarri and wife Lupe Ulibarri; and members of the large and loving extended Warnock, Bates, Ulibarri and Hawthorne families.
A Williamston, MI memorial is being held at 8 pm, Friday, January 19, 2018, at Old Nation Brewery. An Albuquerque memorial will take place on January 27 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm at the University of New Mexico Alumni Chapel.
