March 14th 1980 - July 9th 2021
Jacob Clyde Baca, 41, it's with the deepest sadness we share the news of the untimely and sudden death of our beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend "J" a.k.a. "Fool".
He is preceded in death by his father that raised him Henry Ortega, his maternal grandmother Viola Salazar and youngest sister Francine Guerra.
He is survived by his mother Angie Ortega, biological father Barney Baca, his "pops" Mario Najar; siblings Olivia Jimenez (her husband Sean), Ercilia Najar and wife Jessica Martinez, Delilah Ortega, adopted brother Salvador Gonzales.
Family and friends will truly miss J's hilarious, energetic and outgoing personality. He was intelligent, witty and always cracking jokes. You would never find J without his headphones, music, guns and knives. He loved to cook and went to Culinary art school at CNM. He always volunteered to grill at everyone's parties.
J loved his family and friends deeply. Uncle J was absolutely adored by his nephew Ezekiel "Ziggy Piggy" and niece Frankie "The Kid". He was devoted to them as if they were his own, he happily went on adventures and gave them undivided attention everyday. There wasn't a day that went by that he wasn't with his mom, sister Delilah, nephew and niece. Our hearts and lives will never be the same without you Fool!
