Monoca Robertson-Stackhouse Obituary

Robertson-Stackhouse, Monoca Sue

May the eyes of heaven watch over those of us that are bound to earth as we all mourn the loss of Monoca Sue Robertson - Stackhouse, devoted mother of Justin Wayne Robertson; beloved wife and companion to Todd Warren Stackhouse of 22 years. Born August 28, 1967 to Mary L. Robertson and George H. Robertson and was the sister to James H. Robertson. She was a long time resident of the Rio Rancho community. She graduated from Eldorado High School in the top percent of her class of 1986. She loved her son, family and New Mexico culture. She advocated for the special needs education and Special Olympics, supported the breast cancer research. She also had a strong devotion to God and faith. As a working mother she continued her education through community college to achieve her long term personal goal to work at the Sandia National Labs.

At the young age of 48 years Monoca impacted many lives, she will be sadly missed by all that had the privilege to know her. She departed this world May 6, 2016 from her family home to join with our Heavenly Father above. Although we are saddened, heaven has one new angel to watch over us.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 2400 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.

I had the pleasure of working alongside Monoca. She was a very kind and helpful individual. She loved her family and talked about them often. She will be missed by those who enjoyed her smile. May Gods blessing be with her family during this difficult time.

Monoca was one of the genuinely kindest, straight-shooters I've ever known. We worked together at ECHO and I always admired her ability to concentrate among chaos, performing almost error-free, and always finishing her work. She did many favors for me over the years, even if it was just a smile and pat on the back. She and I often communicated with our eyes only.
I have two Christmas wreaths, one my deceased mom made and one Monoca made for me about a decade or so ago. I love my mom and her wreath, but Monoca's wreath has adorned my front door at Christmas every year since she made it for me, and I suspect it always will.
God love you Monoca, thanks for your one-of-a-kind friendship, we will all miss you so very much. Most of all I hope you are at peace.

To the family of Monoca Robertson-Stackhouse---I had the pleasure of working with Monoca for about 4 years in Personnel Security at Sandia National Laboratories. Monoca was a very kind person. She always worked well with the staff and was always very attentive to her customers needs. I was very saddened to hear of her passing. May she now be rejoicing in God's Kingdom, until we meet again, I will miss you Monoca.

We at SNL will miss her dearly

I will forever miss her sweet smile, caring heart and her silliness. She was loved by those who had the priveledge to know her and I know she has had a positive impact on my life. May God's grace and mercy protect her always. I also pray for peace and strength for those of us left in this sad world.
