Raymond Chavez Obituary
Raymond 'Hosco' Chavez passed away peacefully on April 3, 2015 at the age of 69.
Ray is survived by his wife Roxanne; children, Derek, Nicole, Zachary, Serena, and Ramona; ten grandchildren; siblings, John, Adela, and Frances; along with many nieces and nephews.
Ray enjoyed working with his hands. Particularly, wood he found in the Jemez mountains. He hand carved every member of his family and many friends their own intricate walking stick. Ray spent his time camping and fishing in Jemez, attending his grandchildren's sporting events, and being outside with his faithful 4 legged companion Mya.
A Rosary will be held on April 24th at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 8AM followed by Mass.

Ray, as I passed the church this weekend where you had your funeral mass, I thought of you. I remembered what a kind, friendly, gentle spirited man you were, with a great personality. You were always willing to help around the office, if there was something that needed to be repaired. I enjoyed talking to you about camping and fishing. I looked forward to you being a camp host In Jemez. I still think about the beautiful waking sticks you used to make and regretted not asking to purchase one from you. The most important memory I will have of you is how much you loved your family. I know you are watching over them from heaven. God Blessed Your Family with a loving Angel.
