John Fitzgerald Johnson

John Fitzgerald Johnson Jr., age 23, passed away on May 14, 2025, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born on November 24, 2001, in Cleveland, Mississippi, John brought joy and energy to those around him throughout his life. He was a proud graduate of Blytheville High School, completing his studies in 2020. During his school years and beyond, John found great enjoyment in sports-especially football and basketball-which remained lifelong passions. More than anything, he cherished the time he spent with his children, creating memories that will live on through them. John is lovingly remembered by his mother, Cynthia Neal; his companion, Curtessy Smith; his son, John Johnson III; and his daughter, Jalani Alaya Marie Johnson. He also leaves behind a large and devoted family: six brothers-John Lewis of Cleveland, MS; Isaac Johnson; Jontavious Johnson; Cordell Dotstry, all of Blytheville; Terrance Shannon of Detroit, MI; and Ralph Thomas of Boyle, MS-and four sisters-Jonesha Johnson of Blytheville; Wendy Lewis of Boyle, MS; Nicole Lee and Johshandadyn Johnson, both of Cleveland, MS. His grandmother Bobbie Myles of Blytheville also mourns his passing. He was preceded in death by his father, John Johnson Sr. May the memory of John Fitzgerald Johnson Jr. bring comfort to those who knew and loved him. A Visitation will be held on May 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel 1020 South Division St. A Funeral Service will be held on May 31, 2025, from 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel 1020 South Division with Pastor Bennie Washington officiating.
