Aaron Sinclair Obituary

Anchorage resident Aaron Philip Sinclair, 25, lost his courageous battle with leukemia Nov. 17, 2010, in Seattle.

A visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jennifer S. Jordan Funeral Home, 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Port Vue worship site of St. Mark Parish with the Rev. Gerald Mikonis officiating. Interment will be in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township, Pa.

Aaron was born Oct. 29, 1985, in Texas, the son of Philip and Judith Makara Sinclair of Bellingham, Wash.

He grew up in Texas, West Virginia, Ohio, Utah and Washington. He graduated from Washington State University and was employed by BP Alaska.

He enjoyed ice hockey, the outdoors and the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Aaron was a good Christian who brought joy into the lives of his many friends and family members. He offered up his pain and suffering to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. "We miss him, but we look forward to being with him again in heaven," his family wrote.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a local chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Though we only knew Aaron briefly at the University of Washington Medical Center, he was a light in our day and always put a smile on our faces. He was something to look forward to in an uncertain time. He is missed by many.
