Christian Prado Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Jocelyn; mother, Fortunata Prado of Aguilar, Philippines; daughters: Christy and fiance Albert Bockstoce; Louella Campbell, son-in-law Matt, and grandson William; Kelila Terrones and son-in-law Gian; Jacqueline Obana and son-in-law Sonny, and Nikki Prado and Uryah Babineau; sisters: Rose Panglao, Kathleen Gibson, Jennifer Amancio, and Susan Lambino. Chris is preceded in heaven by his father, Hilario Prado, sister, Arlene Prado, father-in-law Manuel Torio, and grandchildren Kaitlyn, Aiden, and Luke Campbell.
Chris will always be remembered as a friendly, sociable, funny, and light-hearted jokester who found humor in all situations. He was generous, helpful, and had never met a stranger. He will be missed.
Visitation will be on July 31 from 5-8 pm at Witzleben Funeral Home, 1707 S. Bragaw. A short mass will take place at 7pm. A memorial service is planned for August 1 at 11am at St Patrick's Church, 2111 Muldoon Rd, with a reception to follow. Interment will be held at Ft Richardson National Cemetery at 3pm with military honors . Pallbearers are Al Bockstoce, Matt Campbell, Gian Terrones-Vargas, Sonny Obana, Uryah Babineau, Archer Tolentino, Manny Carreon, and Joel Torio. Flowers are welcome and memorial donations can be made at AK Federal Credit Union (1780853, or contact any of the Prado daughters).

Chris was an important friend in my life a long time ago, when I lived in Alaska. Extremely saddened to learn of his passing. My condolences to Joy and all of her family. My deepest condolences to the Prado family. The last time I saw Chris was in college back in the Philippines so it's sad to hear of him passing at such a young age. I'll always remember his happy demeanor - God bless!

To the Prado family, Alex and I send our prayers to you on the death of Chris. He was a man always with a smile and a wonderful sense of humor. Our parent-teacher conferences were always a delight, and I looked forward to them. Hugs and handshakes after Mass were given to me generously. He sure loved his children! Dear Joy and daughters: I am so sorry about your great lost. Chris was a wonderful person with a great family. Joy, I remember the last time that Mónica and I talked to him at San Anthony church and Chris smile was so shined while he was showing us pictures of his vacation and talking about the quality time that he spend with you and family on his trip to Filipines. May the infinite happy moments that both of you had build up throughout the years of your marriage help you with your great lost. ?
Chris, thank you for being a great father in law to Gian and make him always laugh even when he was trying to imitate your voice and good sense of humor ? You will be remembered for ever.
