Dave Berry was one of the most trustworthy attorneys I have ever encountered. He would have made a great judge. His compassion and understanding of people's lives was admirable. I am very sorry for his family's loss.

To Dave's family: I am very sorry for your loss. I was a defense attorney when Dave was a prosecutor in Palmer and then he worked briefly (as a part time retirement job!) for the same small law firm I worked for in Wasilla. He was such a nice man and extremely talented attorney. He was highly respected by his peers as an expert on everything to do with criminal law and procedure. He will be missed.

I'm so sad to hear of Dave's illness and death. He was a great friend and a loyal supporter. During his tenure as a City Prosecutor, Real Property Attorney and Property Management Director, Dave could aways be counted on to cheerfully do whatever had to be done. And always do it promptly, right and in good humor, by the way!
Thanks for being my friend Dave! Those you left behind have good reason to be proud.

To Dave's family - I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Dave as a fellow ADA in the Palmer Office. He was a wonderful colleague, mentor, prosecutor and friend. His calm demeanor worked great to calm down my fiery spirit. I have many funny and good memories of your husband, dad and grandpa. He did good work for many people and always fought the good fight. He will be missed.
