Joshua Robinson Obituary

Josh was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on Oct. 28, 1987. He lived in the Anchorage and Big Lake area all his life. Josh passed late on Monday night, Dec. 3, 2018.
He attended Houston Junior-Senior High School and Bartlett High School and enjoyed his time in junior ROTC while there. He excelled in electronics and made a career out of it. He worked first at Shimeks, then Alaska Smart Home, which he later owned with Summer Slack. He was most recently employed at A Plus Security.
Josh loved the outdoors, especially fishing, camping and gardening. He loved to laugh and made sure that everyone else was always laughing with him. He touched many lives in his short 31 years and through organ donation he changed the lives of many.
Josh is survived by his mother, Toby Robinson of Anchorage; his one true love, Summer Slack of Anchorage; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Dawnyel and Josh DeRose of Keller, Texas, and Cassi and Bud Vela of Anchorage; nephews and nieces, Zech Robinson, Veronica Robinson, Sebastian Robinson, Lani Vela and Arwin Vela; and great-nephew, Tabias (Meatball) Robinson; great-niece, Sinna Robinson; and his father, Todd Robinson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Shirley Pearce; and his best four-legged friend, Piper.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, at 3 p.m., at Uncle Joe's Pizza on Old Seward Highway in Anchorage. Contact his mother, Toby, via email with any questions: [email protected].
