We met Skeeter when Troy got a job at the tank farm in 1988. We have many memories of him & Ruth. And you too Laurie & your boys. Our grandson who lived with us a while up there also lives in Montrose, CO where we live. He was only 3 or 4 when he met Skeeter but he still remembers his because Skeeter had lost the tip of one of his fingers and used to tease our grandson by making it look like he had half his finger up his nose. What a great sense of humor he had. We feel ourselves lucky to have known him. RIP our dear friend.

Some of my favorite times in Whittier was with Skeeter at my kitchen table telling me stories of life in Whittier before I got there and about riding out the 64 earthquake in the rail tunnel in the fish plant. Rest in peace my friend.

My sincere sympathy to the family for the loss of your dear loved one. May you find peace and comfort in Psalms 65:2. Again my deepest sympathy.

So very sorry to hear of Skeeter's death. My Uncle Skeet, was a dear man. He teased me a lot when I was growing up. Although, I am sad, I know there is JOY in heaven, as he joins, all of his loving family there, who gave him a Happy welcome when he stepped through the pearly gates. Love and Prayers to Aunt Ruth and the rest of the family.

I will miss my father very much. He truly was a great man and father. He had a great fun loving side to him that helped me to not take life to seriously. He taught me about finances and managing money. He supported me at every moment in life even when it was not apparent to me. I love and miss my father, but am glad he hurts no more.
