Nicholas Bursac Obituary
He was a life resident of the Barberton area and an honors graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 2007, as a well rounded student and member of the National Honor Society, National Technical Society and Tri-M Society. Nick was a trumpeter for the Barberton Band and Freedom Brass Band and a member of the Magic Singers. He preformed in plays at Barberton High School and Magical Theater. Nick received A Presidential Award for volunteerism during his high school career. His parents will receive Nick's Associate Degree in Science from the Columbus State College this winter. He attended the University of Hawaii and returned to The Ohio State University for his final semester. Nick has a large number of Cisco and other I.T. Certifications along with a score of 98th percentile guaranteeing him a U.S. Government Cyber research position. Nick's influence on family and friends will continue to guide them to be better individuals. He was not afraid to share his knowledge to help others as a camp counselor or help them attain certifications in Cisco.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Nick (Dorothy) Bursac, and Lee (Ann) Stuck; Nick is survived by his parents, Samuel and Patricia A. Stuck-Bursac; his sisters, Tricia (Andy) Richards and Alicia Bursac and their children, Kylie, Evie, Declan and Taylor; Nick is also survived by aunts and uncles, Robert (Sheryl) Stuck, Richard (Bonnie) Stuck, and John (Linda) Bursac. Cousins, Melissa (Brandon) Webb; son, Cormac Webb; Matthew and Meredith, Andy (Megan) Stuck; daughter, Margo Stuck, Dan (Kathy) Hawk, Christopher (Sara) Bursac; and grandmother's cherished dog, Lily.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, 12 noon at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Fr. George Mileusnic officiating. Burial at Lakewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m. with Parastos service at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

I was so sad and shocked to hear about this. Nick and I went to KID camp together at Magical Theatre for a few years. He was an all around great, funny guy and a talented and hard worker. I'm sending my thoughts to the Bursac family during this tough time.

Nick was one of my favorite students. He was like a sponge always taking in, wanting to know more, and inspired those around him. He touched so many people around him in his life, from music, to OE camp, and his smile was so contagious. I have been blessed to know him.

We have never met but our son Stephen went to OSU with Nick. They lived next to each other in the same apartment building.
Steve would constantly relate about social and school activity times they shared and I know that our son is a better person for Nick's friendship. To the Bursac family -- I'm shocked and heartbroken to hear the news of Nick's sudden passing. Please know how closely he was held in the hearts of the Magical Theatre KIDCAMP community -- indeed an extended family -- as one always ready to jump in, participate, help out, lend support with his full heart. He became an unofficial personal assistant to me and an official friend whose warmth lit up the room for me on many a hectic day. Nick was so proud to bring in his trumpet to do an Olympic fanfare one year, so fearless to do an Elvis impersonation another year.
I remember meeting you, Mr. and Mrs. Bursac, at those many performances, and your love and support for Nick just radiated from your faces. Please know that you raised a son who took that light and made it his own, with so much love and support to give to others.

My heart goes out to the Bursac family during this so unexpectedly heartbreaking time. Nick was one-of-a-kind, unique in every way. He was intelligent, quirky, witty, and very, very talented. I swam on the swim team with Nick, spent countless hours in the band room with Nick, and even went to global competition with Nick on our Destination Imagination team. He had a heart of gold, and was friendly to all. He has some of the most wonderful, kind parents you could ever meet. You will be sorely missed Nick, and it was a pleasure spending some of my most memorable high school moments in your company. Rest in peace.

I will miss Nick so much. He has been a great influence on me and i am so glad that i had the time i had with him. I will obtain my certifications in lieu of him and his ponies, but emptiness will always be around...his warm sense of humor and his comfort is what helped me get up in the morning...it's what inspired me to go over to the Bursac's and study...this was such a shock and changes how my whole summer, and life is going to work now...I still can't believe this is real, i hope he is resting now, and watching us as sam and i continue his legacy, forever ingrained the ideas he has put in our heads. Goodbye Nick.....
