I have often wondered what happended to my 6th grade teacher at Mr. Spurr. Mr. Perdue was incredible and believed in me. I was fine being a semi-student, getting into trouble and not having any responsibility until Mr. Perdue told my parents that I was bored and was probably gifted. My parents had me tested and viola...here I am today, a math and science certified teacher of 6th grade in Georgia. Mr. Perdue gave us lots of memories. He wore his hair very hip in 6th grade with a mustache that Tom Selleck probably copied, could beat all of us in a foot race(while wearing dress boots) and had a knack to dress up when he took his school picture(He dressed in a Minuteman costume in '76). I have thought of him quite a bit over the years and I am glad I finally found him. Blessings upon the family.

Dear Wanda,
We are sorry for your loss of Ron. I am glad I got to know him a little bit and spend some time with him in Alaska. He was a wonderful tour guide and I have fond memories of my visits with you all.

Dear Wanda,
Our hearts are so very heavy with your loss of Ron. Faith tells us he's in a wonderful place, getting reacquainted with those loved ones who preceded him. Ron served his life well during his tenure here on earth, and gently touched the lives of so many, including ours. And while he may have been called Home, I choose to believe he will continue to watch over you daily, perhaps leaving little hints of his comforting presence.
We send God our prayers, asking that he give you much added strength to help see you through this difficult time.
We love you, Wanda

Kathy and I send our deepest condolences to you, Wanda; Bill and I had so much fun "chasing" those hundred dollar hamburgers up
at Talkeetna. And meeting for our occasional breakfast(s) at the Capt. Cook. Drop us a note when things settle down- maybe we can see you on the way home in Mar or Apr.

Wanda, please accept my deepest sympathies. Ron was a fine person, and we are all diminished by his passing. I'll remember the good times working with him at the Egan Center for Princess Tours.

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I was stationed with him at Elmendorf from 1964 to 1968. I remember him as a really intellegent person and a good guy. I never knew how he kept that black t-bird so clean in Alaska. Never saw it dirty. Again, my condolences.
