Beloved husband, father and grandpa
Surrounded by his family, Johnny Garcia was met by his Heavenly Father and his parents Johnny and Belia Garcia. Johnny Garcia passed away Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at the University Medical Center in El Paso,Texas.
Johnny was born on March 19, 1959, in Alpine, Texas.

Johnny is survived by his wife Michele Garcia, daughter Vanessa Garcia and her fiancée Frank Terrazas, son Andrew Garcia, son John Garcia and his fiancée Jeff Parker.
He is also survived by his grandchildren Siena R. Coontz and Isabella L. Coontz, sisters Linda Martinez and her husband Mario, Carol Garcia and her husband Ismael, Diane Martinez and her husband Jesse Vigil, Martha Coyazo and her husband Oscar.
Johnny G. lived most of his life in Alamogordo. He graduated Alamogordo High School in 1977 and took some college courses.
He owned a well-known construction business, Johnny G. Construction. Johnny enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with family.

The Garcia family would like to thank the doctors, the nurses and the technicians at Fresenius Dialysis Center for the great care they provided. In addition, a huge thanks to the staff at Ztrans for going above and beyond the call of duty.

Johnny G. was a very caring and giving person. He would want, in lieu of flowers, people to give to someone in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents Johnny Garcia Sr. and Billie Garcia, nephew Oscar Ray Coyazo, niece Adrianna Guerrero and nephew Mario D. Martinez III.

Services will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located at 705 Delaware Ave., Alamogordo.
Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, followed by mass at 10 a.m. am with Father Michael Lindsay as celebrant. A gathering will be held in the Parish Hall after mass.

The Garcia family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the services.
