LeRoy M. Robinson, 1937-2021

Leroy M. Robinson, 84, of Alamogordo passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at home. He was born on April 1, 1937 in Paola, Kansas to Frank B. Robinson and Maxine L. Robinson.

LeRoy was employed by the Otero County Road Department from which he retired after 20 years. He served in the United States Army during the Cold War.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine L. Woolman; his father, Frank B. Robinson; and his wife, Leona Robinson; two brothers, Frank B Robinson Jr and Ira M Jones; one sister, Mary L Dingman; one grandson, Kevin M Caron; one granddaughter, Melissa A. Osterholt; one son-in-law, David Osterholt; two nephews, Frank B Robinson III, Derrick Santacroce; and one daughter, Janet G. Caron.

He is survived by one sister, Janet Santacroce of Las Cruces, NM; one brother and his wife, Richard and Gayle Lucky of Rio Rancho, NM; three daughters, Kathleen Robinson-Sidwells and her husband, Steve of Briston, OK; Renate L Osterholt and Marcella L Robinson both of Alamogordo, NM. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grand children as follows: Cody Robinson, Shiann Gouker, Taren Campos, Casey Robinson, Steven Osterholt, Misty Osterholt, Starla Osterholt, Robert Robinson, Michael Caron, Robert Caron, Maxine Robinson, Madeleine Robinson, Lydia Miskell, Lilac Cope, Bentley Myers and Leilah Myers, Greysin Robinson, Dakota Campos, Aiden Campos, Aurora Campos and Isabella Campos.

LeRoy loved his Labradors, fishing, hunting and camping. He was very much the outdoors man.
