Neil Alan Moon

Neil Alan Moon passed on to be with Jesus on March 20, 2020. Neil was 50 years old. He had a heart bigger than Texas for all people and animals. The proverbial saying "give anyone the shirt off their back" is so true of Neil's life. He never missed an opportunity to help or bless another human or animal. Neil was born at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. He was raised in Alamogordo, N.M. He joined the Army after high school and served as a Security Policeman. He loved America and served her well. He achieved many awards and medals

during his time of service. He fullfilled his childhood dream of becoming a truck driver. He also was a top notch handyman. His favorite hobby was pool/billiards and he was very skilled at the game. Motorcycle riding, reading, and astronomy were his other hobbies. Neil is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Gloria Moon. He will be greatly missed by his brothers, sisters and their spouses. They are: Marsha and Charles Armstrong, Philip and Dixie Moon, Lawrence Moon, Laurene and Andy Carter, David and Ronda Moon, and Marilyn and Steve Dye. Also a paternal Aunt, Ruth Douglas and Lester Douglas III. Neil has many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews

also who loved him and will miss him. Many, many dear friends will also miss him very much! A memorial service will be held at Cottonwood Christian Fellowship on July 18, 2020 at 1 p.m. Address is 7035 US 54, Alamogordo, New Mexico.
