Jesus Salazar Obituary

JESUS SALAZAR It is with deep sorrow that mourn the passing of Jesus "Jessie" Salazar on February 3, 2023 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was 45. Jessie was born December 25, 1977 in Alice, Texas to Rene and Thelma Salazar. Jesus enjoyed reading, barbecuing, and playing video games. He will be remembered for his love of being around his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Rene Salazar; maternal grandparents, Noe and Emma Bazan Valadez; paternal grandparents, Jorge and Antonia Salazar; aunts and uncles, Oswaldo Garcia Jr., Lee Jr. and Yolanda Morgan, and Jorge Salazar Jr.; cousins, Brenda Rios and Sal Rios IV. He is survived by his mother, Thelma Valadez Salazar of Alice; two brothers, Rene Salazar Jr. of Alice and Robert Salazar of Alice; one sister, Christina Salazar of Alice; one nephew, Arturo "A.J." Salazar, whom he loved as a son; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 from 11 a.m. till 12 p.m. with a holy rosary being recited at 12 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, February 10, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Lopez Cemetery in San Jose, Texas. Serving as pallbearers will be David Salazar, William Salazar, Richard Morgan, J.R. Davila, Mark Garcia, Sal Rios III, Luis Valadez and Jacob Holguin. Funeral arrangements entrusted with ROSAS FUNERAL HOME, INC.
