Amanda Renee Everett, 39, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 20, 2026. She was born January 31, 1987 at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. She was a 2008 graduate of Ponchatoula High School, but also attended school in Mississippi, Texas, Virginia, and Morgan City, La.
Amanda was an avid Star Wars fan and collector. She preferred classic television, enjoyed reading, playing board games, and spending time with family. She particularly loved time in the company of her brother and best friend, Daniel. They spent countless hours together on their tablets, watching the other play their video games, or just visiting and recalling their good times. They looked out for one another and were never very far apart. She enjoyed family vacations and those quick trips to the mountains or the beach with her cousins. While her time on earth was not long as most, the quality of that time could not be surpassed. She enjoyed so much, and she was wrapped in the love of the Lord. She was Christened at Lees Landing United Methodist Church as a baby, and part of the congregation all her life.
She is survived by her parents, William (Billy) J Everett Jr and Renee C Everett from Ponchatoula; brother, Daniel E Everett; grandfather, William (Joey) J Everett; grandmother, Sophie N (Lavigne) Cobb; aunt and uncle, Diane C Lowe and Robert W Lowe, and their children Ashley, Brittany, Crystal and Dalton; uncle & aunt Dennis P Everett and Mae A Everett and their son, Toby; aunt & uncle Karen D Falk and Aaron N Falk, and their children, Tyler and Alexandra;
Uncle and Aunt Chad W Everett and Katrina M Everett, and their children, Alexis, Skylar and Wesley.
Amanda was preceded by her grandfather, Charles “Chuck” E Cobb and grandmother, Linda Bernice (Gordon) Everett.
Services for Amanda Everett will be on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at Lee's Landing United Methodist Church. 38346 Lee's Landing Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454
