Ferris was a special blessing in my life. Both he and his beloved Glenda added greatly to my human existence. I never had a conversation with Ferris that I did not need to go home and consult a dictionary or thesaurus. He was a walking GOOGLE. Ask him anything and he had some knowledge of it. And if he didn't know of it, he certainly knew where to find it. Rest in peace in the arms of your Lord, you beautiful human.

Uncle F.E. was always the "most interesting man in the room"! I remember him being kind, very well read and insightful. He could have a conversation about anything! He always had a wonderful reading list to share and I feel like we never had enough time to finish conversations because we would get interrupted by pesky little things like Thanksgiving dinner or something similar. If he didn´t know anything about a topic he would listen and ask genuine questions. In my book he was a gem and I´m grateful to have spent the time with him that I did. He will be missed.
