Earlier today
One of my many L Crow stories took place at a tailgate before an LSU v Notre Dame game. We traveled from Houston to BR with our neighbors who are ND alumni and avid ND fans.
Larry invited us to tour his “sweet potato”
Research project then we proceeded to his tailgate party. ( Larry prepared everything, didn’t need a thing)
Here’s the party as it happened;
Beer keg cut in half with oven grate grill
Great steaks
Can of mixed vegetables cut open and set on top of “grill” served from the can.
Fruit Cocktail from the can!
On our way to the stadium our dear friends
Summed LCrow up perfectly, “ Your nephew talks in Exclamation Marks!”
There are too many memories after watching this very special nephew journey through life. Thank you Larry for letting Uncle Ted and I be part of your beautiful family.

I was in shock last week when I heard Larry passed away!
I couldn’t stop crying!
The memories I have of Larry are from so long ago when he went to LSU and I was a teenager. I remember him showing us his dorm, when the dorms were still below the football stadium.
He was my cool college cousin who would stay at our house for days. He and my mom
(Theresa, “Aunt-T”) would work for hours on whichever paper was due for one of his many LSU classes. He would do laundry and eat whatever food we had too
He was upbeat, optimistic, smart, funny, and had this laugh that was unmistakable!! Then life kept going and I saw less of him as we all get busy with our own children and work. So that was forever my good memories of Larry!
The last time I saw him was at CeAnna’s St. Michael High graduation and I hugged him for a while because he looked like he needed a hug. I told him that I am here, for whatever it’s worth.
I LOVE YOU LARRY, and will always remember you as my smart, larger than life, cool LSU cousin who I looked up to!! Rest in Peace!!

Lori, Lauren, Gracie, Anna and Jeraid - what a beautiful tribute to Larry. I have so many memories of him telling animated stories with all the emotions, dancing with Anna and Aunt JoAnn, showing us his sweet potato machine and giving me advice about college (when I was still in elementary school). I’m sad the world doesn’t have the bright, optimistic Larry anymore. I hope he and his mom are dancing together right now.

I love you Larry. I will never forget what a sweet little boy you were, the summer you spent with us on Donnybrook, the long hours we spent working on English papers, your babysitting Jessica and Annie and making the clean behind the refrigerator, the fact that you loved to dance, the time you rodeoed, your country music phase and your big belt buckle phase. You had a great laigh and the gift of gab. Love Aunt T
