Blake Sutton Obituary
AGE: 56 • Long Branch
Blake Sutton, 56, went to be with the angels on March, 13, 2015. Born in Long Branch, he graduated from Long Branch High School. Blake worked in Atlantic City as a Black Jack dealer and was also employed by the A & P. Blake was regarded as one of the best surfers in North Long Branch, and as a true surfer checked the wind and waves daily. Blake loved the Jersey Shore, his family, his wonderful friends, animals and music, especially the J. Giles Band and the Rolling Stones. He was a kind and gentle soul with a compassionate spirit. Blake was predeceased by his stepfather, Bill Cunniffe. He is survived by his devoted mother, Gail Cunniffe, his loving sister, Shelly Sutton, his many loyal friends and uncles, aunts and cousins. He will be deeply missed and mourned by all who knew and loved him. A viewing will be held at the Flock Funeral Home, 243 Broadway, Long Branch, on March 16th, between the hours of 4 and 8 pm. In liue of flowers, donations can be made to the Surfrider Foundation, Jersey Shore Chapter PO Box 760 Belmar NJ 07719 or to the Surfers Environmental Alliance 543 2nd Ave Long Branch NJ 07740.

Blake, the world is a little darker now that you're gone. I will miss you, I've been one of Shellys nurses since 1985, and have had many times spent with your family, and I have to say yours is truly amazing. Very close, and also lots of great friends...Gail and Shelly, my heart felt condolances are sent to you. R.I.P. now Blake.
