Daniel Sussman Obituary
DANIEL SUSSMAN
AGE: 52 OCEAN
Daniel Sussman, 52, of Ocean NJ, succumbed Thursday to brain cancer after fighting valiantly. Dan was a 1975 graduate of Ocean Township High School and a 1979 graduate of Rider College. Dan was employed by the State of NJ Board of Public Utilities, retiring after 25 years of service. He was an auditor and later became section supervisor-fiscal resources for the Division of Audits. He was also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Dan was a loving and kind person who will be deeply missed.
He was the loving son of Mildred Sussman of Ocean and the late Albert Sussman. He leaves behind two brothers and sisters-in-law, Laurence and Laurie of Colts Neck, NJ, Sheldon and Susan of London, England. He also leaves behind three nieces and a nephew.
Chapel services begin Friday 1:00pm at the Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels Ocean Township. Interment will take place following services. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Worked with Dan for several months around 1993 when he was on special assignment at the NJ Criminal Justice Complex in Trenton, NJ. Dan became a good friend in that short time and was truly an honest and kind person. Sorry to hear of his medical issue and passing as this is a total surprise when attempting to look him up on Sep 9, 2023, after all this time. May he rest in peace driving around his Sunbeam Tiger.

Finding this very late. I was looking at the Rider alum directory. I was Dan's college roommate for what was his soph and jr years. Great guy. Lots of fun.

Dan was a friend of my youth. A prince of a guy. High School would not have been the same without Dan. My deepest sympathy to the whole Sussman family.
