Gabriel Calvetti Obituary
AGE: 74 • Banchburg
Gabriel Calvetti died April 21 at RWJ in Somerville. Mr. Calvetti was born in Verona, Italy, and emigrated to the United States in 1964. After residing in New York City and Springfield & Whitehouse Station NJ, he moved to Branchburg in 2003. He attended New York University to learn English, and subsequently received a technical degree from RCA Institute. He retired in 1991 from NYNEX (now Verizon) after 25 years. After his retirement, Mr. Calvetti worked as both a bus driver for the Hunterdon Central School System and a ranger at Beaver Brook Golf Club in Clinton.
Surviving are his wife, Rosa E. Calvetti, his 2 sons Paul and Gabriel Jr., and his 7 grandchildren: Samantha, Daniel, Jessica, Anna, Paul, Kieran and Colin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gabe's memoryto: Adult Day Center of Somerset County, 872 E. Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. A.Memorial Service was held Sunday, May 3.
