Princeton - Alstena "Tena" Calvetti passed away peacefully Saturday, December 28, 2024 surrounded by family in Princeton, Illinois.
Born October 9, 1930 in Long Acre Township, North Carolina, she passed at 94. Living a long and full life, her priority and joy was her large family.
Survived by children Randy Parker - Manomet, Massachusetts; Ida Kay Hanslow - Champaign, Illinois; Karen Macken (Tom) - Omaha, Nebraska; Alston Parker - St. Louis, Missouri; Frank Calvetti - Colorado Springs, Colorado; James Calvetti (Sue) - Princeton, Illinois; bonus children Andy Calvetti, Mark Calvetti (Tonya), Lisa Rodway; Karen Davis - residing in Florida; brother, A.B. Lamm - New Bern, NC; nieces Cindy Lamm and Linda Mullins; nephew Timmy Pittman; grandchildren Cynthia Devore, Matthew Devore, Ida Kay Parker, Ben Parker, Abel Parker, Cory Miller, Aiden Calvetti, Mica Calvetti, Carla Calvetti, Aaron Calvetti, and 14 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Frank Calvetti; sisters, Dartha Rowe and Lenora Pittman; granddaughter, Angie Axe.
A family celebration of life will be held at a later date in North Carolina.
