In addition to her parents, Jocelyn is survived by her daughter, Jerica Cruise of Chicago, Illinois; sons, Joseph Cruise and Chance Cruise both of Mount Vernon, Illinois; brothers, John Calvetti and wife, Virginia of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Andrew Calvetti and wife, Germaine of Canton, Michigan; and nieces and nephews, Tre', Zac, Guiseppe, and Stella Calvetti.
Jocelyn was an astrophile, adventurer and loved being outside. She was a free spirited hippie and enjoyed music, concerts, dancing, movies, hiking and mushroom hunting. She also loved her cat, Leo and late dog. Jocelyn loved her children, family, and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Jocelyn's visitation will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Centralia, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Jocelyn's honor to Jocelyn's children in care of Chance Cruise.
